Establishment
Meeting |

The company held its establishment meeting on March 24,
2003 after tense preparation. It was decided at the meeting
to found Anhui Tianyuan Technology Co., Ltd. and the members
of the 1st board of directors and
the 1st supervisory committee were elected. On the
same day, the 1st session of both the board of directors
and the supervisory committee were held. Mr. Wang Yunmin
was elected as chairman of the board, Mr. Hong Shisheng,
as general manager, Ms. Sun Jianhua as chairman of the supervisory
committee, and Ms. Cai Xia as secretary of the board.

Ceremony
of Nameplate Hanging |

on
March 28, a sunshine day, the ceremony of the nameplate hanging of Anhui
Tianyuan Technology Co., Ltd was held
in Maanshan Insititute of Mining
Research. Mr Wang Weigang, assistant to the president of SinoSteel
Group extended, on behalf of
SinoSteel Group, warm congratulation on its
establishment. Mr.
Ding Haizhong, Mayor of Maanshan City,on
behalf of the city government, placed high hopes
on the company’s growth in
strength in his congratulation speech.
Mr. Wang Yunmin, the chairman of board and Mr. Hong Shisheng,
general manager, both spoke at the meeting, paying
heartful thanks to the great support
from SinoSteel Group, both city communist party committee and
government and various departments under
them, and depicting the magnificent
blueprint of the company’s future development. Mr. Zheng Mumin,
the secretary of municipal
party committee and Mr. Wang Weigang dropped the silk from the company’s
nameplate.

Establishment
of Tianyuan Technology Tongli Magnetic Material Co., Ltd |
|
It is a
subsidiary of Anhui Tianyuan Technology Co., Ltd, which is a joint venture
between Anhui Tianyuan Technology Co., Ltd and Maanshan Economy and
Trade Development Co., Ltd and was established on Oct. 18, 2002. with
the former holding 80% interest.
The establishement of Tongli Co. which majors in magnetic
elements manufacture has helped form the Tianyuan’s industrial
chain of magnetic technology-soft and
hard magnetic materials-magnetic elements-magnetic
separation
equipment and its related equipment
and become an important ring in the chain.

Ceremony
of Foundation Laying |

On
June 18, 2003, the company’s magnetic material base in Maanshan Economic
and Technological Development Zone started its construction. There were
altogether over 200 people attended
the ceremony of foundation laying. Present at the ceremony
were Ding Haizhong, the secretary of municipal party committee,
Yao Yuzhou, the mayor, and responsiple persons from various
departments
of city government, and leaders, workers and staff members of Maanshan
Institute of Mining Research and Tianyuan Co.
